A number of Liverpool fans have lauded yet another impressive Mateusz Musialowski display for the Reds at age level.

Ahead of Liverpool facing Milan in the Champions League, their respective Under-19s faced off in the UEFA Youth League.

Musialowski went on to grab his first Liverpool goal since October and first in the European competition against the Italians.

And what a goal it was too – the 18-year-old connected with Luke Chambers’ cross and smashed home a superb first-time volley.

Musialowski’s strike ensured that the Reds went in 1-0 up at the break.

Liverpool had chances to increase their lead in the second half, with Musialowski coming close with a long-rage effort.

However, Milan ended up equalising on 78 minutes, with Marco Nasti firing through the legs of Fabian Mrozek.

Nonetheless, Liverpool progressed straight to the knockout stages after finishing as Group B winners.

A great day all round for Reds fans as far as European qualification was concerned.

And once again, Liverpool fans sung Musialowski’s praises on Twitter:

Musialowski joined the Liverpool academy from Polish outfit Lodz in August 2020.

He has made 42 appearances for the Anfield outfit at age level, registering 16 goals and three assists.
