Paul Merson has told talkSPORT (broadcast on 28/3; 9:19) that he is worried about Tottenham as Arsenal look to hold onto fourth spot in the Premier League, insisting that Harry Kane is a player who simply does not have a ceiling.
As things stand, Arsenal are on pole position to finish fourth in the Premier League. Mikel Arteta’s men sit three points clear of Spurs and have a game in hand.

There is still one North London derby to be played this season. And with Tottenham making progress under Antonio Conte, it still seems too soon to make a call on who will book their ticket to next year’s Champions League.
Certainly, what will help Spurs’ cause is the form Kane is currently producing. The forward has been outstanding in recent weeks. He has scored seven goals and provided three assists in his last seven Premier League appearances.
And Merson believes that Kane could be the difference-maker as Tottenham look to catch their big rivals.

“Tottenham are still a danger. I’m a massive fan of Harry Kane,” he told talkSPORT.
“I just find with Arsenal at the moment they are playing to the best of their ability, to their celling. There’s players I don’t think can play any better.
“With Harry Kane I don’t think there’s a ceiling. If Kane turns up and plays well I don’t think there’s any way that Tottenham lose a football match.
“We have seen it at Man City and West Ham, when he doesn’t turn up at Burnley and places like that they don’t win.”
Top-four looks much important for Tottenham amid Conte and Kane concerns
Arsenal would love to secure top-four football this season. It would be a huge achievement. However, whatever happens, it is fair to say that it has been a brilliant season and they are moving in the right direction.
It looks a lot more imperative that Tottenham finish fourth this year. There are likely to be doubts over the futures of Kane and Conte if they miss out.
Arsenal will not want to throw it away now. But the pressure is surely on Kane and Tottenham as they look to give themselves the launchpad to kick on to bigger things.
