Celtic are interested in a loan deal for Manchester United’s Scott McTominay in this month’s transfer window, according to the Daily Mail.
They report that the Scotland international could be allowed to leave Old Trafford on a temporary basis, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer keen to reshape the squad he inherited from Jose Mourinho.
McTominay’s future reportedly depends on whether or not United can offload Marouane Fellaini; if the Belgian leaves this month then the chances are McTominay will remain at Old Trafford.
But if he leaves, Brendan Rodgers could get the tireless 22-year-old through the door at Parkhead to boost his hopes of retaining the title.

McTominay got into the United side last season as a central midfielder and as Rodgers prepares for life after Scott Brown, he could help out in the engine room.
But he has also played as a centre-back this season – that was almost exclusively where he was deployed under Jose Mourinho, who named him his player of 2017/18 – and would offer Celtic a technical, commanding option there.
The Bhoys are reportedly looking at offloading a centre half with the intention of bringing one in and McTominay could be that man.
