'May have dodged a bullet': Leeds fans react as Michael Cuisance transfer breaks down
Leeds United fans have been reacting on Twitter to the news that a deal for Bayern Munich midfielder Michael Cuisance has broken down.
The deal to sign the Bayern Munich man was all but done and dusted but according to reports, including one from the Daily Mail, Cuisance is believed to have failed his medical and a switch to Elland Road is now off the table.
Cuisance was expected to be yet another big money signing for the Whites this summer. The club have already landed the likes of Rodrigo, Robin Koch, and Diego Llorente, but need another midfielder to help out their thin looking squad.
But it appears that player will not be Cuisance now, with his medical apparently showing issues with a foot injury, meaning he wouldn’t be available for a number of weeks.
Leeds fans didn’t seem too impressed with the news on Twitter, with a number of Whites supporters having their say on both the issue and potential replacements.
Reading this Cuisance’s attitude doesn’t sound great. With no guaranteed place in the starting XI he might not have enjoyed Bielsa’s regime. We may have dodged a bullet

I think we should bite the bullet and go for de Paul and pay the extra money – statement of intent for a quality player.

No desperation here for me. No panic. We have a settled squad with some promising signings. Would be great to add the right attacking midfielder but if we don’t, we can wait for the right player and price

Now’s the ultimate test for Orta & Radz to get something turned round in such a short space of time!
