Max Aarons’ excellent performances for rock-bottom Norwich City this season has seen him linked with a number of big Premier League clubs including Tottenham Hotspur – and the right-back has commented on Spurs’ stadium.

Still only 20 years of age, England Under-21 international Aarons has remained first choice for Daniel Farke’s Norwich this season – missing just two of Norwich’s 29 Premier League outings. He has now played 73 times for Norwich’s senior side.

Such form, at such a young age, has seen Tottenham linked. The Daily Mail claims Spurs want to lure the right-back to north London in the summer, witha fee of £30million said to be enough to secure the defender’s services.

During an Instagram interview with website Rising Ballers, Aarons responded to a question from a supporter – who asked which stadium was the best he had played in. He responded both Old Trafford, and Tottenham’s new ground.

“Stuck between two,” Aarons said. “Old Trafford was unbelievable. You can feel the history, a great stadium. The new Tottenham stadium, that was crazy in there. You look at it and you feel how good it is, how good it has been built. I can’t choose between the two.”

TBR’s view – Tottenham desperately need Aarons

It is clear that Aarons is already a fan of Tottenham’s facilities and that could prove helpful in Spurs’ bid to land the English right-back. But with Serge Aurier linked with AC Milan and still proving a liability, Aarons must be signed.

Young, English talent is expensive these days. So, to solve a real problem area for a fee of just £30million would be excellent business. Tottenham must make Aarons one of their biggest priorities this summer.
