Max Aarons and Ben Godfrey react as Tottenham confirm loan exit

Oliver Skipp has completed a season-long loan move to relegated side Norwich City from Tottenham Hotspur and posted on Instagram to confirm a move to his followers – prompting reaction from Max Aarons and Ben Godfrey.

Skipp, 19, managed 11 senior appearances last season as he continues to break into the senior Spurs side. He now has 23 in total, but Jose Mourinho has decided to sanction his loan exit in order to get more regular game time.

It has seen the England Under-21 international move on loan to Norwich, who are expected to be at the top end of the Championship campaign next season – fighting for promotion after their relegation from the top tier.

Skipp posted his delight on Instagram after completing a season-long loan move to Carrow Road this summer, with the midfielder now focused on helping the east Anglian side gain an instant return to the Premier League.

Spurs remain in the market and are reportedly closing in on their second addition in the form of goalkeeper Joe Hart – after Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg. They have been linked with two Norwich City players of late.

Football London claim Aarons is a target for Spurs, while The Sun say Godfrey is also being eyed by Mourinho’s side. Both players – though expected to leave – commented on Skipp’s Instagram as he joined them at Norwich, for now.
