Reports linking Eden Hazard with a summer move to Real Madrid have picked up recently. The London Evening Standard claimed that Real Madrid were stepping up their interest in signing Hazard with Chelsea set to demand over £100m.
But Real Madrid are confident of landing Hazard, as per Sky Sports News. And Maurizio Sarri’s latest comments should have Chelsea fans sweating.
As reported by Sky Sports News, Chelsea manager Sarri admitted that the club might have to let Hazard leave if he wants to.
Sarri said: “If Eden wants to make another experience, it is very difficult to keep him, I think. “[We will try to persuade him] that we are trying to improve, to become one of the best teams in England, and as a consequence in Europe, but I think I have to respect his decision.”

And if Sarri’s ominous prediction is correct, it will be good news for Liverpool fans. Liverpool winger Sadio Mane is an alternative target for Real Madrid, according to Marca.
Mane has been Liverpool’s standout attacking player this season, stepping up when Roberto Firmino was injured and when Mo Salah suffered a dip in form.
The Senegal international has scored 20 goals for the Reds this season and his importance cannot be understated. That is why Liverpool fans should be delighted to hear that Real Madrid’s pursuit of Hazard could end with success.
