Tottenham are reportedly interested in Valencia midfielder Carlos Soler.
According to ESPN, Spurs are planning a £30million raid for the La Liga ace in the summer.
It is understood that the 22-year-old is being regularly watched by the North London club, but Paris Saint-Germain are also in the race for his signature.
Spurs are considered frontrunners to sign their Spanish target and he would be a significant addition at the club.
Manager Mauricio Pochettino hasn’t had a lot to cheer about due to the club’s lack of spending on transfers in recent times, but bringing in the Valencia ace for next season would be a step forward.

Soler is a highly-rated midfielder that has moved from a central position to the wing in his career.
The right-winger has scored two goals and supplied six assists in 28 games across all competitions so far this season, which included netting against Manchester United in the Champions League.
He is a wide man with great pace and trickery, while he’s got a great eye for a pass too.
Spurs are keen to add players that can make a difference in the first team and the Spaniard definitely has the potential to light up the Premier League.
But the only concern may be that he’s on the horizon for the summer and another window in January without any signings will surely infuriate fans.
