Tottenham host Arsenal on Saturday afternoon in a pivotal Premier League fixture and it’s imperative that they pick up three points to halt their poor run.
Spurs suffered a 2-0 defeat away to Chelsea on Wednesday night, which followed up a 2-1 loss away to Burnley last weekend to make it back-to-back league failures.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side remain third in the table as it stands, but fourth-placed Arsenal will move just a point behind them if they manage to win on Saturday.
Spurs need to bounce back against their North London rivals and manager Pochettino has a big decision to make with his team selection.
There were several poor displays against Chelsea and goalkeeper Hugo Lloris was one of the main culprits.
The 32-year-old is the Spurs captain and won the World Cup last summer with France, but he can add another high-profile error to his list of individual mistakes from this season.
He had a vital role to play in Kieran Trippier’s own goal, as he came rushing out of his goal with bad communication to give Chelsea an unassailable lead.

Lloris can’t keep getting off the hook for his mistakes and teammate Paulo Gazzaniga should get a chance in one of the club’s biggest games of the season.
Gazzaniga is a more than capable goalkeeper than many feel should be in contention for the number one spot and giving him the chance to impress against Arsenal could be a masterstroke.
The 27-year-old is an excellent shot-stopper that is a class above with the ball at his feet too and it may be wise to give him the responsibility at the weekend.
It would be a brave decision for Pochettino to drop his captain and a high-profile figure like Lloris, but it may be for the good of the team.
