Mauricio Pochettino has been discussing his wish for this season at Tottenham Hotspur, and it is quite a simple one.
The Argentine, who has found himself in perhaps the toughest spell of his Tottenham career so far recently, was speaking to FIFA.com as part of their ‘The Best’ series.
The Spurs boss made it clear that the overwhelming target with Tottenham now is to win a trophy.
“There are many goals and dreams. Winning a trophy with Tottenham would be something incredibly huge, a huge achievement for the club. That is my wish, to win a trophy with my club.”

It is certainly an interesting comment from Pochettino, especially considering how last season ended.

He hinted prior to the club’s Champions League final with Liverpool that he could potentially walk away from the club if they were victorious.
They, of course, were not and an accusation levelled at Pochettino at times this season is that he is perhaps ready for a new challenge.
But it is clear that the Tottenham hoss does not want to leave without winning silverware with the club.
He has led Tottenham to a runner-up medal in both the League Cup and Champions League so far but an actual cup win seemingly eludes him.
It will certainly be interesting to see how Pochettino feels if Tottenham do finally end their trophy drought this summer and if he decides to move on as a consequence.
