Juventus defender Mattia De Sciglio has issued a come and get me plea to Chelsea by admitting he has a soft spot for the Premier League outfit during an interview with Tuttosport.
During the conversation with the publication, he was quizzed on his future. De Sciglio has been with Lyon for a season-long loan stint, playing 32 times for the Ligue 1 outfit.
Following this season a discussion will need to be had. His future looks bleak with Juventus and it doesn’t seem as though he will earn a reprieve whilst Andrea Pirlo is in charge.

It would seem as though a move to Chelsea would appeal to the versatile defender, after admitting a soft spot for the Stamford Bridge-based outfit.
He told Tuttosport: “I would like to stay in France, where I feel great on and off the pitch, or try a new experience abroad.
“Maybe in the Premier League which has always fascinated me and where I have a soft spot for Chelsea. Now, however, I only have Lyon and finishing the league in mind.”
TBR View: Could Thomas Tuchel make a move for the defender?
It has to be said that it seems highly unlikely. Although he is versatile and can play anywhere in a back four, at 28 he’s hardly an attractive proposition to the Chelsea boss.
De Sciglio made 133 appearances for AC Milan and a further 62 for Juventus, boasting some serious experience of playing for top European clubs.
Tuchel is likely to have a reshuffle of his squad during the summer. He will want to stamp his own authority on the team and a new defender or two might well be signed.

De Sciglio has won three Serie A titles during his career and does know what it takes to play in successful teams.
If Tuchel does pursue a defender, however, it’s likely to be a younger player with one eye on the future.
As a result, De Sciglio’s soft spot might have to see him follow Chelsea’s fortunes from afar.
