Newcastle United winger Matt Ritchie lavished praise on Salomon Rondon’s ability to score goals.
The Venezuelan striker has been a huge hit at St. James’ Park this season following his loan move from West Bromwich Albion.
He has chalked up 10 strikes in 26 games across all competitions, and Newcastle look a threat again in the attacking areas.

Last term Rafa Benitez’s side struggled a lot in terms of scoring goals, but Rondon has eased the worries considerably in 2018/19.
Speaking about his teammate, Ritchie said on talkSPORT (quoted by Chronicle Live): “He’s been fantastic for us. He’s a great character, and his goals are priceless. He has been fantastic since the day he walked through the door. He has given us [the wide players] a target to hit and gets us up the pitch.”
TBR’s view
Rondon must be a joy for players like Ritchie to play with.
The former Malaga player is a brilliant target man and a huge threat in the air.
Ritchie is a player who loves to cross the ball, and Rondon is the ideal individual to be getting on the end of the balls into the box.

There is no question Newcastle would be closer to the relegation zone if it weren’t for him, and it’s going to paramount that they secure his services permanently this summer.
The Northern Echo claim West Brom want £16 million for their man.
