Marcelo Bielsa got the best out of several Leeds United players last season at Elland Road and thankfully for supporters he will be around again next year to try get the club promoted to the top-flgith.

The Whites went as far as third in the Championship before losing in the play-off semi-finals to Derby County and some individuals played out of their skin under the manager.

They will hope to continue strong form going into next year, but some will have a job on to keep the standards so high.

Mateusz Klich was one of the outstanding individuals at Elland Road last term and he took his game to a new level.

The central midfielder played 50 times across all competitions, scoring 10 goals and supplying nine assists in return.

Klich enjoyed the best goalscoring return of his professional career last season, as he thrived in a box-to-box role and was an ever-present in Bielsa’s XI.

His task will be replicating that over the next 12 months and continuing to get into goalscoring positions.

The 28-year-old should be in the peak years of his career right now and another strong season in the Championship should be enough to earn him a shot in the Premier League.
