Mateusz Klich celebrates 100 games as a Leeds United player
Leeds United got their promotion charge back on track yesterday with a sublime 3-0 win over rivals Fulham at Elland Road.
It was a tremendous display from Marcelo Bielsa’s men, with Mateusz Klich once again at the heart of it.
The Polish international put in yet another accomplished midfield display and it was also a momentous fixture for the player.

Klich was featuring in his 100th league game as a Leeds United player.
It was something the popular fan favourite was quick to relish in on Twitter after yesterday’s game.

He was not alone in celebrating the feat. His captain, Liam Cooper, posted a response, suggesting there was still plenty more to come from the Poland star at Leeds.

The 30-year-old’s achievement is even more impressive when you consider how close he came to leaving the club.
Leeds signed Klich in 2017 from FC Twente but he struggled under Thomas Christiansen before being loaned out to FC Utrecht.
But Bielsa immediately saw the value in Klich and quickly made him an integral member of the Leeds United first-team squad.
Now, 100 games down the road, it is hard to believe Leeds nearly moved on without him.
