‘Massive season for him’ – Everton fans react as Richarlison scores for Brazil

Everton fans were gushing over Richarlison after his latest performance for Brazil. The young attacker produced a standout performance in a friendly match for Brazil against Qatar.

Ahead of the Copa America, Brazil hosted Qatar in a friendly game and won 2-0. Richarlison opened the scoring and then provided the assist for Gabriel Jesus to double the lead.

It was a well-taken goal by the Everton man. Dani Alves whipped a cross into the box and Richarlison rose above the defenders to power a header into the top corner.

The 22-year-old, who joined Everton from Watford last summer, has now scored four goals in nine international matches for Brazil.

This followed an impressive debut season at Goodison Park. Under the stewardship of Marco Silva, the versatile forward netted 14 times for the Toffees in the 2018/19 season.

And with Neymar stretchered off in the first half and set to miss the entire Copa America, it could be Richarlison’s time. Brazil are hosting the Copa America and Richarlison could be the star man.
