'Massive bargain', 'Not really': Tottenham fans discuss Dominik Szoboszlai being set to join RB Leipzig
Tottenham fans have been discussing Dominik Szoboszlai on Twitter again, as reports emerged today that the midfielder is set to join RB Leipzig.
Sky Germany claims a deal for Szoboszlai to move from Salzburg to Leipzig is done. It will see the Hungarian star move to Germany for around £22m, putting an end to speculation over his future.
That speculation has seen both Spurs and Arsenal linked with a move for Szoboszlai. His exploits in Europe with Salzburg seemingly catching the eye of both Mikel Arteta and Jose Mourinho.
However, Spurs fans have been left to rue a case of what might have been, with Szoboszlai’s future now all but sorted.
Twitter was awash with discussion over the deal for Szoboszlai, with Spurs fans split in terms of being a blow or not.
Not really, expected it – I’m just chuckling after Arse fans were so certain he’d be their savior in Jan

Didn’t expect it to happen.. but yes. He will be a massive bargain. So much class for his age.. and he is physically built for the Prem.

This kid is brilliant but I thinks he is like Harvetz. Not sure he is suited for Premier League. I would instead go all out for Sabitzer. I could be wrong.

It was always a longshot right? No space for him. Too bad we couldn’t add him before the fee gets astronomical.

A bit yes, but would rather the money go towards a CB. Levy has spent a lot for Jose so far, so I imagine the priority has to shift to a long-term Toby/Sanchez replacement.
