Arsenal have some special players, and Martin Odegaard thinks one of his teammates could achieve something incredible this year,

Speaking to the Premier League on TikTok, Martin Odegaard has made a rather bold prediction about Bukayo Saka, claiming that he thinks the winger will score the Goal of the Season this year.

Odegaard shared his verdict on the attacker.

“The Goal of the Season will be scored by Bukayo Saka, because he’s a star boy and he’s looking ready for the new season,” Odegaard said.

Of course, it’s almost impossible to predict who will score the Goal of the Season in any given campaign.

Players such as Julio Enciso, Emre Can and even Maynor Figueroa have won the award in the past. It’s not necessarily pot luck, but any player can produce that moment of magic to win the award.

That said, we can understand why Odegaard has tipped Saka to win this award.

Saka is getting better and better, and he’s becoming more and more confident in terms of trying audacious pieces of skill.

Interestingly, the last time an Arsenal player won the Goal of the Season award was 10 years ago in the 2014/15 season as Jack Wilshere won the award.

Saka isn’t scared to shoot from distance, and one of those long-range curling efforts could easily be a Goal of the Season contender under the right circumstances.

Whether or not Saka produces this sort of goal remains to be seen, but he certainly has the talent to smash one in from distance and win this award.
