Arsenal midfielder Martin Odegaard has told Gunners fans that Hale End prodigy Charlie Patino is “definitely one to watch for the future”.
Known for his technical ability and agility in midfield, the 18-year-old has often played for higher age groups.
As a 14-year-old, Patino captained England’s Under-16s against Spain and made his debut for Arsenal’s Under-18s against Chelsea.

Last season, Patino earned promotion to the Under-23s – a great achievement considering his age – and made four appearances.
And this term, the playmaker has already clocked up nine Premier League 2 appearances, looking a cut above in the U23s.
Patino is so highly rated that plenty of Arsenal fans have been calling for him to get game time in the Carabao Cup this term.
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta opted to play strong XIs against West Brom, AFC Wimbledon and Leeds, but surely a debut for Patino is not far away.

On Tuesday, Odegaard took part in a Q&A on Arsenal’s Twitter, as transcribed on their website.
“I would probably say Charlie [Patino] is one of the biggest talents there,” said the Norwegian.
“I really like the way he plays and uses the ball, and his confidence to get on the ball and [also] ask for the ball all the time.
“He is definitely one to watch for the future.”
