Martin Odegaard has labelled Mikel Arteta incredible, and insisted that he has a lot to learn from the Arsenal boss – in comments reported by Defensa Central.
Odegaard’s future looks to be a key talking point in North London right now. The 22-year-old has scored two goals in his last four appearances for the Gunners and produced some moments of sheer magic along the way.

Arsenal, unsurprisingly, appear to be eyeing a deal that would see him stay beyond his loan. According to The Times, the Gunners believe that the Norwegian would be open to staying.
Odegaard insisted however, that he is yet to consider what will happen after this season.

“I have not thought about what will happen in the summer,” he said, as reported by Defensa Central. “The deal with Arsenal is until the end of the season. We will see what happens this summer.”
What will encourage Arsenal fans however, is that Odegaard went on to laud his current boss.
“I get along very well with him,” he added, when talking about Arteta. “He is incredible. I have a lot to learn from him. I just need to ‘sharpen my ears’ and pay attention.”
Having struggled to force his way into Zinedine Zidane’s plans at the Bernabeu, it may be particularly significant for Odegaard to now have a manager he rates so highly.
That would certainly hint that he would be open to staying if the opportunity presented itself.
Much may change if Zidane’s tenure comes to an end. A new manager would be foolish to not take a look at Odegaard in the summer.
But as things stand, it must good news for Arsenal that Odegaard is so happy working under Arteta.
