Arsenal responded to their defeat at Liverpool last time out with a comprehensive victory over Nottingham Forest on Saturday, with summer signing Noni Madueke impressing.
Martin Zubimendi and Viktor Gyokeres got the goals in a routine 3-0 win against Forest, although it was Madueke who received plenty of praise from fans and pundits for his influential performance.
Madueke was a key part of England’s dominant win in Serbia this week, scoring his first goal for the Three Lions. And he took that form back to Arsenal with another all-action display.

Having dealt with a significant amount of discontent at his signing from Arsenal fans, Madueke is starting to prove himself at the Emirates with his early performances.
Martin Keown tells Noni Madueke he thought he was too selfish, admits he was wrong after Arsenal display
Speaking on TNT Sports, former Arsenal defender Martin Keown spoke to Noni Madueke after the win over Nottingham Forest and admitted that his previous view of the winger was wrong.
“I was worried about you when you came because I thought sometimes you can be a little bit selfish,” Keown told Madueke.
“But now you seem to have really good balance to your play. The decisions you’ve been making have been outstanding.”
In another section of analysis, Keown added: “Madueke, [Eberechi] Eze coming in today, both of them were outstanding.”
Martin Keown hails Arsenal summer signings, says Gunners were ‘scary’ against Nottingham Forest
Analysing Arsenal’s performance, Keown was full of praise for Arsenal’s summer signings, especially in light of major injuries to Bukayo Saka and Kai Havertz.

Keown said: “That was a real scary show of strength from Arsenal today with the quality of player. You’ve been without Havertz and Saka unavailable and that was a problem for Arsenal last season, but not this.
“Gyokeres, what about that second goal, so direct, forward pass. He is a real predator. Even [Cristhian Mosquera] at the back, what a performance that was. His full debut at Arsenal, home game, outstanding.
“At the moment, Arsenal are looking so strong. Eze is starting to purr, you’re seeing the touches, you’re seeing the flicks. And above all else, you’re seeing a winning performance from Arsenal and I think that’s a huge message that Arsenal are better equipped this time around.”
