Martin Keown has told BT Sport (broadcast on 5/11; 22:01) that Joe Willock is getting better and better after watching his performance in Arsenal’s latest Europa League win.
The Gunners have put one foot in the knockout stages of the competition. They fell behind against Molde. But they ultimately ran out 4-1 winners at the Emirates.

The 21-year-old was integral to their turnaround. He was involved in the own goals that put Mikel Arteta’s men in front. And he bagged Arsenal’s third to make the points virtually safe.
It was an outstanding performance from the youngster. And Keown noted how it is becoming a regular occurrence for Willock to impress him with his displays.

“We’ve given him a lot of credit on this programme. He’s just getting better and better,” he told BT Sport. “He really is now at a stage where he wants it and he’s making the difference in his performances every time we see him.
Willock deserves a lot of credit for the way that he has responded when he has come into the side. He featured in 29 Premier League games for Arsenal last season – making eight starts.
At this stage, he is still awaiting the chance to make his first league appearance of the campaign. And yet, he does not appear to be letting that frustrate him or affect his performances.
Arteta has to be taking note of his displays. And it surely cannot be too long before he is getting another chance in the top flight.
