Former Arsenal defender Martin Keown says he cannot see Trent Alexander-Arnold continuing to play at right-back for much longer.
The 20-year-old came of age on Tuesday night as his quick corner allowed Divock Origi to score a fourth goal against Barcelona at Anfield to send the Reds through to the Champions League final.

It was his second assist of the game, taking his tally to a truly remarkable 15 for the season.
Such creativity has rarely been seen before from a full-back as young as Alexander-Arnold, and Keown believes he carries Steven Gerrard-like qualities.
Writing for The Daily Mail, he said: “He reminded me of Steven Gerrard the way he sprayed the ball around at Anfield.

“I do not see right-back being Alexander-Arnold’s position for long.
“He could thrive at the base of a midfield three – and that’s where he should play for England at the Nations League.”
TBR’s view
Alexander-Arnold has been tipped to change positions before, having admitted he used to play as a holding midfielder as a 16-year-old.
With every passing game, his passing and creativity seem to get better and better.
He has shown he has the ability to play a holding midfield role, but Jurgen Klopp has found a gem in Fabinho.

The German tactician no longer deploys two as the base of his midfield, with Jordan Henderson playing more of a box-to-box role.
So Alexander-Arnold may have to make do with his regular right-back role and perhaps simply fill in for Fabinho as and when is required.
