Martin Keown believes that Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold can exploit Everton’s frailties in defence.
The Toffees host their Merseyside rivals on Sunday in the Premier League at Goodison Park and will be looking to put a dent in their title bid.
Everton go into the fixture after losing three of their last four league fixtures, but did beat Cardiff last time out.
Meanwhile, Liverpool beat Watford in their last league match and it was memorable for Alexander-Arnold’s three assists.
The 20-year-old demonstrated his attacking qualities from right-back, as his pin-point crossing proved extremely useful.
Pundit Keown insists that the England international has the quality whipping balls into the penalty area to exploit an Everton weakness.
“Everton are vulnerable from crosses and if they do not stop Alexander-Arnold on Sunday, Liverpool’s fearsome forwards will be queuing up to put the ball in the net,” Keown told the Daily Mail.
“The quality of his delivery is sublime. Alexander-Arnold has natural talent for striking the ball, bending his body to generate maximum whip and pace.”

TBR’s View:
Everton’s struggles with balls into the penalty area have plagued them this season and Keown makes a decent point that it could be something Liverpool target.
Alexander-Arnold has developed into one of the best right-backs in the Premier League and his attacking qualities are part of the reason why many feel he will end up in midfield.
He’s supplied six assists so far this campaign and left-back Andrew Robertson provides an equal threat with crosses from his flank.
