Martin Keown insists that a lack of pressure on Tottenham is keeping them in the Premier League title race.
Spurs are currently third-placed in the table, with a five-point deficit to the top two of Manchester City and Liverpool.
Many believe that it’s already a two-horse race between Jurgen Klopp’s team and Pep Guardiola’s side, but Spurs have managed to just about keep in touch.
The North London club have been extremely consistent during the Mauricio Pochettino era and are still performing without key injured pair Harry Kane and Dele Alli.
Pundit Keown believes that Spurs should still be considered in the hunt for the top-flight title and feels they are going under the radar.
“Tottenham not seem to know when they are beaten. When Liverpool or Manchester City drop points, it is seen as a blow to their title hopes,” Keown told the Daily Mail.
“Spurs are not under the same pressure… and that is keeping them very much in this race.”

TBR’s View:
With 13 league games still to go, Spurs certainly still have a chance of winning a first Premier League crown.
They have victories in 19 of their 25 league games this season, which is even more impressive considering they have had to use Wembley as their temporary home for a second season.
Spurs have shown they can consistently grind out wins and they still have to visit the top two this season.
They are rightfully an outside shot to win the title, but it would be foolish to rule them out as they are more than capable of putting together a run from now until the end of the season.
