Grujic has made just two appearances for the Reds since joining in January 2016. The 25-year-old was Jurgen Klopp’s first signing as manager of the Merseyside club.

Grujic spent last season with Portuguese giants FC Porto, and the midfielder impressed with the Liga NOS side.

As per the Echo report, Sergio Conceicao’s side are eager to sign the Serbian on a permanent deal this summer. Other clubs are also keen on the midfielder.

And this summer, Liverpool have to ensure they move the Serbian on for the good of his career.

Indeed, the 25-year-old is at a part of his career where first-team football and stability comes over developing his craft.

Furthermore, the upcoming transfer window will be the perfect opportunity for Grujic to move on from Liverpool, as well, as the Merseyside club to bank a profit for the midfielder.
