Liverpool midfielder Marko Grujic reckons former Reds ace Philippe Coutinho could become the best player in the Bundesliga, as he nears a loan move to the Bavarians.
The Barcelona playmaker is reportedly (The Sun) on the verge of completing his temporary switch to the German champions weeks after being linked to a number of English clubs.
Coutinho has fallen out of favour at the Nou Camp having struggled to fit into Ernesto Valverde’s system.

His nightmare is set to end at least for the time being, and Coutinho’s former teammate Grujic has high hopes for the ace.
The Serbia international, who is on loan at Hertha Berlin once again and will likely face the Brazilian, said in an interview with Bild: “It’s a big thing for the whole Bundesliga to have the possibility to see Coutinho play now.
“He is a special and exciting player, he does crazy things. He got incredible tricks and skills in his locker. I enjoyed every training session with him in Liverpool. He will be by far the best footballer in Germany.”
TBR’s view
Coutinho’s fall from grace since leaving Liverpool has been fairly spectacular.

The Reds are seemingly just fine without him, but Coutinho will be keen to use his stint in Germany to remind everybody what a talented player he is.
It’s a big claim from Grujic considering the Bundesliga plays host to the likes of Robert Lewandowski and Marco Reus, but he can certainly light it up if the system is right for him.
