Marko Grujic has told Sport Bild that he is loving his time at Hertha Berlin and is not planning a return to Liverpool in the summer.

The 22-year-old is on a season-long loan from the Reds and is relishing his time in the Bundesliga.

The German manager is under pressure from certain sections of the Liverpool support to add more midfield goals to his team.

James Milner, Jordan Henderson, and Gini Wijnaldum are hardly known for their goalscoring prowess at Anfield.

As a result, Klopp could look to address that during the summer.

Grujic does have 14 Liverpool appearances to his name already but these latest comments question whether or not there will be any more.

The Serbian’s pass success rate is up at 81.1% for the campaign, according to Who Scored.

Klopp likes his midfield men to be useful with the ball and be energetic around the pitch. Grujic ticks both of those boxes.

The Reds boss has previously stated that he might not spend millions this summer (Sky Sports).

On that basis, Grujic can be the player that comes back to Anfield and makes the biggest impact.

The challenge for Klopp is to tempt the £15k-a-week (Spotrac) man into sticking around the Premier League.
