Marko Arnautovic can build up momentum for West Ham during Austria matches

West Ham United will be hoping that centre-forward Marko Arnautovic returns from international duty with some great momentum to take forward.

The 6ft 3in colossus is part of the Austria squad that will face off against Northern Ireland and Denmark over the next two weeks.

He is a vital part of the nation’s team and he’s got the potential to rip apart Northern Ireland in the Nations League tie if he’s anywhere near his best, while Denmark is a friendly match.

Arnautovic, 29, has enjoyed a decent start to the campaign with the Hammers by scoring four goals in seven games across all competitions and is the talisman at the London Stadium.

The attacker could really build up ahead of steam if he grabs a couple more goals during the internatonal break.

He is going to thrive off goals just like all strikers and supporters would love to see him at the peak of his powers.

West Ham face Tottenham in both the league and cup, while they travel to Leicester City in remaining fixtures in October.

They are going to need their elite players at their best and can be a match for anyone if they have powerhouse Arnautovic in the mood.
