Arsenal attacker Kai Havertz is now “finally starting to find his place” at the Emirates Stadium.
This is according to Mark Schwarzer, who admits he was initially “never sure” about how good Havertz would be for the Gunners.
Now, the Premier League legend has told the Optus Sport Football Podcast that he likes the Arsenal ace, saying we’re seeing a better version of him now.
Havertz has needed a little time to find his feet at the Emirates Stadium following his big-money summer move from Chelsea.
However, the 24-year-old now up and running as Arsenal continue to stake a claim for the Premier League title.

Havertz impressed away at Burnley last time out, constantly causing the hosts problems with his runs in behind.
In the 78th minute, he helped himself to a goal, nutmegging Dara O’Shea and slotting past James Trafford for Arsenal’s fifth.

Schwarzer likes what he’s seeing from the Gunners man, telling the Optus Sport Football Podcast: “I’m going to against the grain a little bit right, I do like Havertz.
“I think we’re seeing a better Havertz now than we have more recently with Arsenal.
“I think he’s finally starting to find his place a little bit, I was never sure about how good he would be because at Leverkusen he came in and out of games and I think that’s what we’re seeing here.
“In the Premier League, it’s another step up and you’re going to see even more inconsistency.”
It’s great to see Havertz finally up and running at Arsenal. Lately, we’ve seen plenty of players that need months to really get up to speed following a big-club move, but they come good.
Darwin Nunez at Liverpool is one fine example. He struggled in his maiden season but is now a key player for the Reds.
Havertz is now doing well after a slow start and hopefully it won’t be long before he’s just as indispensable to the Gunners.
