Mark Noble has told West Ham United’s official website that the Hammers could boat an advantage on Tuesday night when they travel across London to take on bitter rivals Tottenham Hotspur.
Noble failed to prevent Wolverhampton Wanderers from winning 2-0 on Saturday evening at the London Stadium, as Adama Traore provided the difference from the substitutes bench.
The Spaniard came on to provide an excellent assist for target man Raul Jimenez, curling a cross into the box that gave the Mexican an easy chance to score. Pedro Neto volleyed home a second with a stunning effort.
Despite that defeat, Hammers skipper Noble is already looking to Tuesday night’s clash against Spurs – and reckons the absence of supporters at Tottenham’s new ground could play into his side’s hands.
“We go to Spurs away and we’ve obviously got a good feeling there from last time and hopefully we can carry that on,” Noble said. “As we know, it will be different with no fans, but it will probably benefit us more that we’re playing there with none of their crowd.”

TBR’s view – Do West Ham have a chance of stopping Spurs?
Tottenham looked very good against an in-form Manchester United side on Friday night, and will be looking to build on the point they earned – which could have easily been three, had Eric Dier not conceded a penalty.
Spurs will be favourites and whether or not home advantage is an advantage, it remains to be seen. West Ham will need more from a number of players, though, especially Felipe Anderson – if they are to get anything from the game.
