This Liverpool squad is full of experienced players and brilliant characters.
The likes of Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dijk, Andy Robertson and Trent Alexander-Arnold have all been there and done it all in the game.
This Liverpool side is full of brilliant leaders, and according to Mark Lawrenson, Alisson Becker is also a fantastic influence behind the scenes.
Speaking to Off The Ball, Lawrenson has been discussing the idea of Salah, Van Dijk and Alexander-Arnold leaving Liverpool upon the expiry of their contracts, and he says that Alisson is another important leader who the Reds need to keep.

Alisson is an excellent leader at Liverpool
Lawrenson shared what he’s heard about the Brazilian.
“How much would it cost to replace those three? Those are arguably the three best players in the team plus the goalkeeper,” Lawrenson said.
“And in the dressing room what is it going to do to the dressing room? You spoke about Van Dijk in the dressing room.” The host said.
“And Alisson. Alisson is really strong in the dressing room I’m told, so don’t write off the fact he might want to go if that’s the way it’s going to be,” Lawrenson said.
Alisson could leave Liverpool
Alisson is one of the best goalkeepers in the world and he’s a brilliant leader at Liverpool.
However, as Lawrenson says, the goalkeeper may be looking at leaving Anfield at some point in the near future.
Giorgi Mamardashvili has already been signed as Alisson’s long-term successor at Anfield, and in two or three years, the Georgian will be looking to take that number one spot.
That may pave the way for Alisson to leave Liverpool, and that would be the end of a real era.
Alisson may well be the best goalkeeper in Liverpool’s history, but we may be heading into the back end of the goalkeeper’s Anfield tenure.
