Southampton lost midfielder Mario Lemina earlier this week after a summer of speculation surrounding the Gabon international.
Southampton, who paid a reported (The Mirror) initial £15.4 million to sign the midfielder from Juventus in 2017, were looking for a buyer for the player throughout the summer.
Lemina had made it clear he wanted to move on from St Mary’s in what seemed to be a fairly acrimonious split between him and Saints boss Ralph Hasenhuttl.

Despite early links with big clubs across Europe, Southampton’s hope to sell Lemina for big money soon dissipated and a loan move quickly became the best-case scenario.
It was Turkish side Galatasaray who eventually won the race for the 26-year-old.
Clearly, it is a move that Lemina is happy to have made.
He has taken to Twitter to share his joy at playing for such a ‘mythic’ club like the Turkish giants.
The Press Association’s Simon Peach stated that Southampton received a €1 million (£900,000) loan fee for the player and that Gala can complete a permanent transfer next summer for a fee in the region of €16 million (£14.4m).
If he can impress in Turkey, the early evidence certainly suggests that Lemina will have no qualms about making this deal permanent.
