Marco Silva should unleash Richarlison and Bernard together against Fulham

Everton manager Marco Silva must consider bringing Bernard into the starting lineup against Fulham.

The Toffees are looking to bounce back from defeat against Arsenal, with a victory over newly promoted Fulham at Goodison Park.

It’ll be a tough game for Silva’s side, with Slavisa Jokanovic’s team looking like a decent side so far.

Everton have made an indifferent start, taking six points from their first four games, and losing the last two.

Last weekend saw the return of star man Richarlison, and that’s a huge plus for Silva.

The summer signing from Watford looks to be the most dangerous Everton player at the minute, and the team looked far worse off as he served his three-game suspension.

Richarlison has been making headlines, but Silva ought to now think about pairing him with his compatriot, Bernard.

Bernard is yet to start for Everton, but has looked impressive across his three cameo apearances.

The summer signing from Shakhtar Donetsk looks to be a pain to defend against.

His small stature and speedy dribbling could cause some serious harm to opposition full-backs this season.

He primarily operates from the left, which would mean Richarlison would have to move centrally.

Richarlison has shown that that’s a position he can fare well in, and it could be an exciting combination.

The duo are obviously compatriots and so there’s likely a good understanding there.

Cenk Tosun has endured a difficult start to the new season.

It might be in Silva’s interests to drop the Turkey international and use Bernard, Richarlison and Theo Walcott as a three-pronged attack.
