Marco Silva has left the door open for Phil Jagielka and Leighton Baines to remain at Everton next season, according to the Daily Mirror.
The experienced pair of former England internationals are nearing the end of their careers and have only played a handful of Premier League games each this season.
And Silva says that nothing has been finalised for either of them, but is keen to show both the respect they deserve after being such loyal servants to the club.

Silva said: “It is not decided yet. When we have a decision, they will be the first ones to know. I already spoke with Leighton, Jags I will do in the next few days or weeks. Leighton knows what is my idea already.
“They have all the respect of ourselves. They are fully focused on what we want in our desire and our goal as a team. They are there, they are there working really hard for us to achieve what we want because it is the most important thing.
“You are talking about our captain, our sub captain they are really important players and they deserve all our respect.”
It was obvious before Silva took over that Everton needed a younger, quicker backline and to his credit, the Portuguese has managed to put that into place swiftly but without alienating the older heads.
Both men are very handy backups but it just remains to be seen how long Jagielka and Baines want to settle for that, or if they want one last hurrah somewhere else before retirement.
