Marco Silva needs Everton attacker Richarlison to rediscover his mojo

Everton manager Marco Silva find himself in a bit of a hole right now, with his side losing their last three consecutive matches.

The Toffees sit ninth-placed in the Premier League table as it stands and have not played since a defeat to Watford on 9 February.

They don’t return to action until next Tuesday away to Cardiff in the league and they desperately need points on the board to try close the gap to seventh.

Silva needs his star players to come to the fore for him during the remainder of the campaign and he should be looking at Richarlison to deliver to get him out of a precarious position at Goodison Park.

Richarlison has been a shining light this term with 11 goals across all competitions during his first year with Everton, but even he’s going through a tricky spell right now.

The Brazilian has no goals in his last three games and just one in his last eight league fixtures.

Richarlison, 21, has a lot of pressure on him to score goals despite his age and is the team’s greatest attacking threat.

He is certainly capable of reigniting another goalscoring run and that’s exactly what Silva will be having his fingers crossed for.

Richarlison has had the chance to recharge his batteries during a mini break and Everton need to play through him when they return to action.

The centre-forward/winger has been one of the successful summer additions from Silva and he does appear to love playing under the Portuguese boss.
