Everton boss Marco Silva has admitted to the Liverpool Echo that the club are in a rush to get transfer business done this summer. So could Moise Kean be the next man through the door?
Speaking after Everton lost to both Sevilla and Mainz in the Opel Cup, the Portuguese admitted the team was looking a little short of where he wants it to be.
He suggested the club may have to make five new signings before the transfer window shuts on the 8th August.
One of the areas where Everton want to bring in a new face is in attack. It looks increasingly likely that Juventus striker Kean is the player Everton have set their eyes on.

There have been many reports over the weekend regarding Everton’s progress on such a deal.
However, Corriere dello Sport’s is perhaps the most exciting for Everton fans.
They report, as relayed by TMW, that Everton are happy to pay the €40 million (£36 million) asking price for the Italian international this summer. However, the problem that still lingers on is Juventus’ insistence on a buy-back clause being inserted in any deal.
Everton do not want to have such a deal arranged. It would allow Kean to return to the Bianconeri at any moment in the future. But if Everton and Juventus can get over this issue, a deal certainly seems likely.
It seems, at the moment, that Kean is the most likely next arrival for Everton this summer as they seek to build on the arrivals of Andre Gomes and Fabian Delph. As for bringing in a new right-back, centre-back, winger and potential Idrissa Gana Gueye replacement, time will have to tell.
