Everton manager Marco Silva was full of praise for Richarlison, after the Brazilian struck late to win the game against Southampton on Saturday.
The Toffees beat the Saints 2-1 at St. Mary’s Stadium to ease some of the mounting pressure on Silva, and the club are now up to 15th in the table.

It was Richarlison’s third league goal of the season and fifth in all competitions, and Silva expressed his delight for the 22-year-old after the game.
“We have a fantastic relationship”, he said (Guardian). “He came to the Premier League when he was 20 years old. He was a young boy who spoke no English. I am one of the happiest people in the world when I see him achieving what he has achieved.
“We [Everton] did a big effort as a club to sign him. He is doing well because our fans love him.
“Its good to see him scoring and it is good to see him recognise that we are important for him as well.”

Richarlison is valued massively by Silva, who of course brought him to England as Watford manager in 2017.
So far this term, the Brazilian has featured in all 15 of the club’s games.
TBR’s view – Richarlison Everton’s bright spark
It’s been a tough start to the 2019/20 season, but Richarlison can be the man to drag the Toffees up the table and into contention for Europe.

The talented South American is adored by the fans as Silva says, and that should give him real confidence to keep inspiring for the Toffees.
He is by far and away the team’s shining light and one gets the feeling he could really relish in that role.
