Leeds United attacker Jay-Roy Grot is reportedly wanted by two clubs in this summer transfer window.
According to the Yorkshire Evening Post, Vitesse Arnhem and Hearts are in the race to sign the 21-year-old on loan.
The report details that the Whites are expected to send him out on loan for a second successive season, after he spent last year with VVV-Venlo.
It is understood Leeds paid £750,000 to sign him and haven’t completely given up on him having a future at Elland Road.
Grot spent last season with VVV-Venlo in the Eredivisie and he showed that he’s still a young exciting prospect.
He managed six goals and three assists in just 34 games across all competitions for them.
Leeds manager Marcelo Bielsa should check on Grot during pre-season before entertaining reported interest in him.
The Dutchman is a versatile attacker that can play as a striker or a right-winger and could still have a bright future ahead of him, despite him possibly being forgotten by supporters after his year away.
He’s got great pace and power, something which he wasn’t quite able to show when he first joined Leeds.
Grot has just enjoyed a decent campaign in homeland Holland and it would be worth Bielsa casting his eye over him.
