Leeds United Marcelo Bielsa praised Mateusz Klich for his performance in the draw against Brentford on Tuesday night.
The Whites recorded a 1-1 away draw against promotion rivals Brentford in the Championship at Griffin Park.
Kiko Casilla’s shocking error on the ball allowed Said Benrahma to tap in an opener for the hosts, but Leeds captain Liam Cooper found an equaliser in the first-half from a corner.
The Yorkshire giants were once again unable to make their domination of the ball count on the scoresheet, but it was a more encouraging display after losing four of their last five league matches.
Leeds remain second in the league table for now, but will drop out of the automatic positions in the league table if Fulham beat Millwall on Wednesday.
Bielsa picked out Klich after the Brentford draw and claimed he “played very well” in the contest, as quoted by Leeds Live.

TBR’s View:
Klich is not a player that has been in the best of form lately for Leeds, but he looked much more like his old self in midweek and showed some high quality moments in the centre of the park.
The 29-year-old made some trademark offensive runs with his tireless energy, while he takes care of possession so well at times with his close control.
He is a central midfielder that provides a real box-to-box role for his team and has to be commended for the shift he puts in every match.
