Marcelo Bielsa has delivered an injury update on seven Leeds United players ahead of their trip to Norwich – confirming three will be missing.
Leeds are struggling for form at the moment and a lot of that can be put down to a string of first-team players being on the sidelines.
Last week, Leeds were without Kalvin Phillips, Patrick Bamford, Junior Firpo, Luke Ayling and Robin Koch. Raphinha went off after 53 minutes.
Phillips returns against Arsenal, but Raphinha was missing. Now, Bielsa has given an update ahead of the trip south to take on Norwich at Carrow Road.
A game Leeds will be expected to win, Bielsa stats that Bamford, Ayling and Koch will definitely miss the game. But four of seven injuries could feature.
Indeed, Bielsa confirmed that England ace Phillips is fit to play. He then says he expects Jamie Shackleton, Raphinha and Firpo to be okay to travel.

“Firpo and Raphinha are likely to be available and Bamford won’t be,” Bielsa said, as per Leeds Live. On Phillips, Bielsa said he is “fine to return”.
“Shackleton is likely to be available and Ayling won’t be. There is no precise return date for the injuries of Ayling, Bamford and Koch.”
Bielsa injury update: Who will start for Leeds against Norwich?
The issue remains for Bielsa at right-back. Ayling is still out, meaning he may have to rely on Shackleton – but even Shackleton is not 100%.
With Firpo possibly returning, Bielsa could move Stuart Dallas to right-back. Cody Drameh’s impressive debut against Arsenal could be tempting.
Liam Cooper and Diego Llorente are likely to start at centre-back again. Firpo or Dallas at left-back, depending on who is fit and who has to cover.
Phillips behind Mateusz Klich and Rodrigo or Tyler Roberts, with the other starting up top. Raphinha could also play in the middle.
