Tottenham Hotspur have recently been linked with a move for PSV Eindhoven winger Hirving Lozano. The Mirror reported earlier this week that Spurs were scouting the attacker, valued at around £25 million by his Dutch club.
Such interest is fair, considering his recent form. The Mexican scored 19 goals and assisted 11 last season before shining at the World Cup for his nation. He has had an excellent start to the new season as well. Lozano already has already hit nine goals in 13 games for PSV this term.
Lozano is bound to be on the shortlist for several clubs, either in January or at the end of the season. Everton must be in that race.
The Toffees were tentatively linked with a move for the player this summer. Nothing concrete was ever mentioned, with Lozano happy to remain in the Netherlands for the time being.

However, Everton would have a great chance of getting the player. At that price, he is certainly affordable. Everton also have another ace up their sleeve. The club’s new sporting director is Marcel Brands, who brought Lozano to Europe when in the same position at PSV.
He would also fit in perfectly to Everton’s current system. With Richarlison looking more than capable of playing through the middle, Lozano would be an excellent recruit on the left-hand side of the Everton attack.
With the choice of Lozano, Richarlison, Theo Walcott, Bernard and Cenk Tosun at Marco Silva’s disposal, Everton would have one formidable attacking line-up.
