Many Bournemouth fans react as Ryan Fraser reportedly eyed by Liverpool

Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing Ryan Fraser in the January transfer window as his Bournemouth contract looks set to expire at the end of the season – and Bournemouth fans have urged Liverpool to “take him”.

Fraser, 25, is likely to be sold in January if Bournemouth are looking to bring in some cash for the winger, who enjoyed his best season at senior level during 2018-19. He scored eight times for Bournemouth, as well as providing 15 assists.

This season, The Scotland international has struggled to recapture that form – scoring only one goal and creating two in 11 games. But the pocket-sized speed machine is still a January target for Liverpool, according to TalkSPORT.

Liverpool have plenty of options in attack, but Jurgen Klopp may be looking to bring in cover for his world class front three in Mo Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane. Xherdan Shaqiri has been injured, meaning Divock Origi has been used out wide.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Adam Lallana are preferred in the middle of the park and that could be why Liverpool are keen on signing a new winger as cover for Salah and Mane. The report claims Liverpool could land Fraser for a bargain £15million.

It is also believed that Liverpool loanee Harry Wilson could be included in a deal for Fraser, with the Wales cap shining on loan at the Vitality Stadium. Bournemouth fans have reacted to the news, urging Liverpool to sign him.
