Manchester United welcome Crystal Palace to Old Trafford this evening, as the race for the fourth Champions League position draws into the closing stages. With Manchester City coming up short against Newcastle on Tuesday, Louis van Gaal’s side now have the opportunity to close the gap on their neighbours, but to do so they will have to overcome Alan Pardew’s Eagles.

Marcus Rashford will be hoping to retain his place in the Red Devils’ starting line-up, and if he does so, he will be regarded as the danger-man for the hosts. The English youngster has scored seven goals in his 12 appearances for United so far, despite attempting only 10 shots on target. However, Wayne Rooney will be raring for a start up front, being just one strike off 100 league goals at Old Trafford.
