Manchester United are looking for potential opportunities which may arise in the final week of the window and one of those players is a former Pep Guardiola player.
Ruben Amorim will be keen to add to his United squad in what remains of the January window with his team currently sitting 12th in the Premier League.
Man United are working to sign Patrick Dorgu as their priority this month but given how manic the end of a transfer window can be, other opportunities will need to be monitored.

Manchester United waiting ‘in the wings’ for Douglas Luiz deal
Manchester United are waiting ‘in the wings’ for a potential deal to sign former Man City midfielder Douglas Luiz, according to the Daily Mail.
Juventus are open to letting Luiz leave on loan this month given he has struggled to establish himself in the team under Thiago Motta.
Manchester City have shown an interest in signing Luiz despite having sold the player back in 2019 to Aston Villa for just £15 million.
Juventus signed the 27-year-old from Aston Villa only last summer for £42 million and now Nottingham Forest and Fulham are queuing up to sign him in the remaining days.
The Red Devils are already well-stocked in the midfield, with Manuel Ugarte, Kobiee Manioo, Casemiro and Toby Collyer, so Luiz would be a luxury signing but also an opportunity too good to turn down.
Manchester United on the trail of Matheus Cunha
The Daily Mail add that United are also on the trail of Wolves attacker Matheus Cunha who is still yet to commit to a new contract at Molineux.
The Midlands club will have very little interest in losing the Brazilian and will demand at least £70 million for him, which could rule out the Premier League giants.
They would also face competition from Aston Villa, Arsenal, Tottenham and Nottingham Forest if a potential deal was to become available.
