Manchester United reportedly want Celtic physio Tim Williamson to ease injury woes

Manchester United are chasing Celtic and Scotland physio Tim Williamson after yet another season of injury struggles, according to the Daily Mail.

They report that United are looking for a new head physio – adverting and interviewing for one – and Williamson is among the top contenders.

The report says that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is looking to reshape his backroom team after years of underperformance and injury issues at Old Trafford.

And that apparently may see Williamson move south of the border if he is seen as the man to help United solve their injury worries and wants to take the job.

TBR’s View – Would Williamson move?

Of course, United are a massive club but so are Celtic. Staying in Scotland might make his international duties easier and Solskjaer’s Red Devils are a mess.

So would Williamson make the move? The money would likely be better and if United view him as the man to solve their injury woes, then they would probably go all out to get him down to England.

These days, behind the scenes staff are ever more important and if Celtic have a man of this calibre there, they will likely want to do all they can to keep him.
