Henrikh Mkhitaryan – 5

Offered very little but mostly due to the fact that the defensive set-up saw him act more like an additional full-back than an attacking winger. Looked to get forward but on the very few occasions where he did, he wasn’t able to produce anything of note to really test Arsenal.

Anthony Martial – 6 

United’s biggest attacking threat, his pace, energy and movement caused problems and was United’s only real threat until changes were made to add more attacking intent. Tested Petr Cech with the best chance that his side had but then faded later on.

Juan Mata – 6

Like Mkhitaryan, Mata was forced to play far more defensively than he would usually be accustomed to. He did offer more than and his creativity and vision was vital on the counter attack.
