Jesse Lingard – 5

Disappointing again. He lacked any kind of end product, often just shooting speculatively from distance once he got into the final third, and never really tested the Tottenham defence with his pace or dribbling.

Juan Mata – 6

Constantly looking to create opportunities but had little assistance from his team-mates. Whilst he did find spaces and chances, there was no final ball to create any clear attempts for the Red Devils to score.

Anthony Martial – 7

Improved as the game went on with his pace and drive causing real issues for the Tottenham defence in the closing stages. Whilst he didn’t get himself on the scoresheet, he did go close with a couple of bending efforts from the edge of the box.
