Chris Smalling – 6

Naively gave Harry Kane the space to get in front of him to add a second goal early in the second half. Wasn’t afraid to get stuck into a physical battle with Kane and handled him well for the most part.

Eric Bailly – 7

The pick of the back three, he looked assured and comfortable throughout. Moved further right in the second period and supported Axel Tuanzebe before his substitution. Will be sorely missed in the Europa League final.

Phil Jones – 6

Turned inside out by Heung Min Son’s movements on a couple of occasions, he didn’t commit any major mistakes and looked more comfortable when in a central role.
