Slightly nervous at the start but settled into the game, his passing was effective and he looked to get forward down the flank as well as providing defensive cover when necessary. Made his case for future games.

Eric Bailly – 6

Looked tired right from the first whistle and struggled to handle Swansea’s energy in attack. Limped off injured on the hour mark as the knocks and bruises took their toll in a physical battle.

Daley Blind – 6

Outmuscled by Jordan Ayew on a few occasions, he was not his usual self on the ball either. A little sloppy in possession, he was far from his best and will need to improve ahead of Thursday’s Europa League semi-final.

Luke Shaw – N/A

Lasted just eight minutes as the England international faces yet more frustration with injuries. Could prove to be the end of an awful season for the former Southampton man.
