Arsenal and Manchester United have both been linked with similar targets this summer and now it looks like the Red Devils have entered talks with a player courted by the Gunners.
Arsenal have, so far, signed Riccardo Calafiori while they are pushing ahead with a deal to bring Mikel Merino to the club.
For United, signings like Joshua Zirkzee and Leny Yoro have been well received, while the likes of Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui could follow.
However, United might not be done there and according to reports, have spoken to the agents of Arsenal-linked full-back, Ferdi Kadioglu.
Manchester United hold talks over signing Ferdi Kadioglu
According to a report from The Daily Express, Manchester United have held initial talks with the agents of Kadioglu as they investigate if a move is feasible.
The report quotes Turkish journalist Yagiz Sabuncuoglu as saying that contact has been initiated between the parties.

As we know, Kadioglu has been on the radar of Arsenal all summer, although suggestions of a deal with Arsenal seem to have died off a touch.
Kadioglu will be allowed to leave Fenerbahce for around £25m and after impressing all last season and then in the Euros, he’s a wanted man.
Kadioglu a solid option for United
Of course, when it comes to United, it means finding more money on top of the deals already done.
But with Luke Shaw struggling to stay fit, Kadioglu could well be an option they consider.
Arsenal, meanwhile, seem unlikely to come back for Kadioglu at this stage with the signing of Calafiori and other areas prioritised.
But after being lauded as a ‘superstar‘ for his performances in Turkey, Kadioglu very much seems on his way to getting that big move.
Quite whether it will be to the Premier League, though, remains to be seen.
